Land of 10,000 Lakes Wedding

June 29th, 2019 was a dream! From the gown to the lake backdrop to the Up North scratch off favors, this was a classic Minnesota wedding.

Christina and Mike got married in a perfect outdoor ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends in a place that meant most to them. You see, ever since Christina was a kid she had been coming to Nisswa, MN every summer. They spend so much time here and it was a place they got to know each other and spent time together just enjoying summer for years. So when it came time to find a venue, they knew that this was somewhere near and dear to their hearts. Well, their choice was right because everything turned out perfectly.

The day started with the girls getting ready in a cute little cabin while we set up their reception. They did photos throughout the beautiful grounds of the Grand View Lodge. The weather was as perfect as could be for an outdoor ceremony at the end of June.

The ceremony was nestled just outside of the gorgeous Grand View Lodge, right in front of the lake and surrounded by big beautiful trees. The wedding party entered, followed by Christina and her dad who walked down the large set of stairs to meet her groom at the alter.

The ceremony was followed by an outdoor cocktail hour with amazing apps and even better company. Dinner was upstairs overlooking the grounds and ceremony. Guests were greeted with Up North themed scratch offs at their place settings and the guest book a map of Gull Lake to tie the whole thing together.

The first dance was under a beautiful skylight and large chandelier. The parent dances followed before guests ended the night dancing and enjoying drinks and late night pizzas. This Minnesotan wedding was one we will all keep close to our hearts forever. Not only were the elegant and classic Minnesotan elements done perfectly, Christina and Mike's love shined through every element of that day.
